As a Cowboys fan, I am simultaneously under reacting and over reacting to the most quintessential Dak era Cowboys season opener of all time.

Fans once again excited for what the ‘boys COULD be ☑️

Dak with an extremely inconvenient injury ☑️

Unable to get anything going on offense ☑️

Zeke being a disappointment to everyone ☑️

Q: How long must we live in this hell? A: probably as long as that old shoe masturbator owns the team.

I have not YET started gambling on sports but maybe I’ll put 10 units on Cooper Rush for MVP just to feel something.

Overreation: The Bears will finish ahead of the Packers in the NFC North. In the first half, did I question why I am a fan of teams that don't know how to run an offense? Yes, yes I did but then they won and did that slip n slide in the end zone and I will count my blessings in week 1.

Underreaction: Spencer Petras is still listed as QB1 on the depth chart even though the Iowa offense has scored 1 TD in the first two games and that came off a blocked punt where they started on the 10 yard line and ran it in to score. Brian Ferentz should be fired but nepotism always wins so I guess we roll with what we got.

I'm overreacting to the trash NFL kicking game week 1- are we going all in on the 2 point conversion? I mean you could argue that it only has to be successful 51% of the time to be worth it, since it's double the points. Are we going for it on 4th down more? Here for that drama if so.

I accidentally bought fruit loops with marshmallows. My kid is currently overreacting to this apparent amazingness and requesting this cereal every single day. It’s a special cereal, what do I do when they get rid of it?

Overreaction: JJ McCarthy for Michigan. yes I'm a Michigan fan and yes it was terrible Hawaii but some of his throws Saturday night were opponent invariant and are impressive against anyone. Plus he literally did not miss a throw, his one incompletion was a drop that was still dead on. Add in the few throws he made in the CFP against Georgia last year, and I am way too excited for his future.

2nd overreaction: Love with every fiber of my being that A&M basically bought the #1 recruiting class this year and still is bad... bet those boosters are rethinking their investments!

Underreaction: I'm not sold on Clemson still, not sold on any SEC team that's not Georgia or Bama, and for that matter I am not concerned about Bama. Texas has a lot of talent and Bama isn't used to playing away games. (all sec games are mostly home games for Bama, except Auburn but Auburn sucks.) Bama will still be in the SEC Championship vs Georgia. Texas (not back) has skill but still limited coaching, Sark will improve them and they will be an issue in the SEC.

Overreacting to Coach Sam Pittman. He’s such a good fit for the Hogs, for such a time as this, etc. 🐗 Think I’ll go have an ol’col’beer. https://twitter.com/RazorbackFB/status/1568689822897958912?s=20&t=Nu9tyFqErPR8WXt-xtnMHw

Very much underreacting to the Vikings win. Outside of the fact that Aaron Rodgers had no one to throw to and no one playing tackle, I’ve been a fan of the Vikings too long to start getting hopeful. Exhibit A: 2016 when they were 5-0 going into the bye and went 3-8 in their last 11 games. Grumpy eye patch boi Mike Zimmer may be gone, but they’re still the Vikings.

I am overreacting to today’s news that the SEC has directed UGA and Tennessee not to play their scheduled non-conference games against OKlahoma the next two years. OU and Texas may be on the move sooner than previously thought (and I guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer to meet Andre in person).

I’m under reacting to NFL first week results. Let’s not tear up our tickets after the first game, unless Nathaniel Hackett is your team’s coach. That guy is obviously on the take.

Overreacting to the Arkansas Razorbacks being a top 10 team just a few years out from the nightmare of Chad Morris. (Keep an eye out for the Arkansas student section this weekend as Bobby Petrino returns to Fayetteville for the first time since his spectacular fall from grace. Rumor is there will be an abundance of neck braces.)

Overreaction: Caleb Williams has entered the Heisman chat. JJ McCarthy will be the best Michigan QB since Chad Henne, the fact it has been that long says a lot about the state of Michigan QBs.

Underreaction: Rodgers will be fine. LaFleur doesn't lose two games in a row(the week 18 throwaway game last year doesn't really count).

Underreacting to the Florida Gators - are they as bad as it looked? Does this mean Utah is even worse than we thought? How good is Kentucky? (Barely good enough to beat a trash FL team.) Still not sold on TN - like Andre, I think Georgia rolls through the SEC east!

Under-reacting to Texas A&M’s loss this weekend. As a Former Student, I’d much rather have my playoff dreams dashed in Week 2 than Week 12.
